Class-specific permutation camera. a Illustration of a five-layer diffractive camera trained to perform class-specific permutation operation (denoted as \({\varvec{P}}\)) with instantaneous all-optical erasure of the other classes of objects at its output FOV. Application of an inverse permutation (\({{\varvec{P}}}^{-1}\)) to the output images recovers the original objects of the target data class, whereas the rest of the objects from other data classes are irreversibly lost/erased at the output FOV.
